Forest To Plate needs your support

Like many of us our organisation will suffer the consequences of the coronavirus as well. All of our revenue comes from the activities we organise and the rent of our holiday home in France. For now everything in the near future is cancelled until further notice.

That’s why we ask for your help.

Recently we celebrated Forest To Plates 5th birthday. All those years our mission was very clear: bringing people and nature together en show all the beauty nature has to offer.

With walks, workshops and weekends we were able to teach thousands of people about wild edible plants and the importance of (edible) nature. Meanwhile we planted foraging routes, designed food forests and we will plant thousands of trees in the future. Online we are actively campaigning as well where we try to stimulate people to get out there and discover the wonderful world of nature. We are convinced that everyone of us deserves a healthy future, that is possible if we keep on working together and make nature into our number 1 priority.

your support is crucial

As a consequence of the coronavirus it is estimated that we will lose more than €20.000 of our revenue. It could damage the functioning of our organisation. We won’t be able to solve this huge gap in our budget on our own, that’s why we come to you and ask for your support.

With your help we could continue our daily functioning, that is:

  • Connect people and nature with walks and on social media

  • Keep on running our holiday home in France, which became a place for all people who love nature

  • To spread our knowledge on social media

  • Making sure our employee, Roxane, can keep working for us

  • Designing food forests for companies, governments and individuals

  • Designing and planting foraging routes in and out of the city

  • Organising forest and river clean-ups

you can support us by booking activities

  • Try not to cancel activities you already signed up for. If we could not go through with it, we can still figure out if we could organise it some other time in the future.

  • Book a walk, weekend or workshop for this summer or autumn.

  • Make a reservation to rent our holiday home Mont Vireux with family or friends to enjoy nature

Everyone of us is suffering the consequences of this health crisis. Let’s try to get through this all together by following the measures taken by our government and support each other.  We are grateful for everyone supporting us (and therefor nature) as well!
