The Kari 12 by Nordisk is an easy-to-handle cotton tarp that compliments the rest of our cotton range and which can be used either with a tent or on its own. A tarp provides extra space and shelter and can be used in a variety of ways, with or without groundsheet and windbreaker. It protects you and your camp from rain, snow or strong sun. Kari comes with two strong steel poles, 10 steel V-pegs with a hole for added strength in sandy ground and a guy rope offering a variety of setups. You’ll make good use of this shelter when you’re in need of a dry place for cooking and even sleeping!

This large shelter, the Kari 20 by Nordisk, is a 20 sqm large and easy-to-handle tarp that suits the Legacy look and feel. It protects against rain and strong sunlight and can be used either in combination with a tent or as a stand alone providing extra space for luggage or gathering.

Together with the tarp come two strong steel poles, 10 Steel V-Pegs with holes for added strength in sandy ground and guy ropes offering a variety of set up possibilities where you can use poles, trees or maybe a 4x4 wheeler or whatever available for anchoring. But please make sure that the tarp is properly fixed as it might otherwise be carried away in strong winds. We’ve used this tarp as a basic shelter to host workshops and cooking.

This very spacious shelter from Danish Nordisk is the best solution on the market if you want to quickly and easily create lots of shade while camping. This Kari 41 shelter has an enormous surface area: 41 square meters, but it is still easy to use. The material used is a blend of cotton and polyester, which gives a strong, durable, waterproof yet lightweight result. The light beige sand color adds a natural touch to your camping setup and fits nicely as a spacious awning with most types of cotton tents.

Of course, you don't need to have a tent with you, this Kari 41 shelter is perfect to use on its own thanks to the included poles, lines and pegs. Kari' is an old Norse term for wind, which is very appropriate when you know that this shelter is extremely wind and rain resistant.
