The Forest To Plate movement aims to inspire and educate chefs, health conscious foodies and nature lovers of the benefits of eating wild edible plants, and has already been teaching thousands of people around the world, especially in Belgium and France.

Forest To Plate is the next evolutionary step in the Farm To Table movement that has been popularized by restaurants and chefs in major cities throughout the world. 

Forest To Plate is based on foraging techniques and understanding the benefits of eating wild edible plants. Through proper education and responsible foraging techniques, it is the goal of the Forest To Plate movement to inspire and educate chefs, health conscious foodies and people in general of the benefits of eating wild edibles.

We are located on the border of Belgium and France (see www.montvireux.com), but travel around Belgium and beyond to teach people the world of food we almost forgot.

Het doel van Forest To Plate is om mensen te onderwijzen in de wondere wereld van wilde eetbare planten en hun laten zien wat de mogelijkheden zijn. Door Forest To Plate werden al duizenden mensen onderwezen, voornamelijk in België en Frankrijk.

Forest To Plate is de volgende stap in de “Farm To Table Movement”, een beweging die mensen dichter bij het bord wil brengen en naar de oorsprong van het eten.

Forest To Plate is gebaseerd op de basisprincipes en regels van het wildplukken. Met educatie brengt Forest To Plate deze informatie aan chefs, gezondheidsfreaks en natuurliefhebbers over, het doel van Forest To Plate is om deze kennis door te geven zodat deze niet schadelijk is voor mens of natuur. 

Wij zijn gevestigd op de grens van België met Frankrijk (www.montvireux.com), maar reizen over heel België en verder om de kennis die we bijna kwijt waren met iedereen te delen.
